AT INDIAN LAKE NAZARENE CAMP
8258 Victory St, Vicksburg, MI 49097
On July 12-15th, our group will be renting out space at Indian Lake Nazarene Campgrounds (ILNC) for a God-filled summer retreat. After a very trying year, we believe this will be a priceless opportunity for our students to refresh, recharge, and rekindle their relationship with God and each other.
What you can expect: Students will be housed in cabins divided by gender. The bathhouse, complete with hot showers, is a short walk a way from the cabins. Some activities to expect are lake swimming, 9-square, gaga ball, walking trail, bonfire, gym time, craft barn, kayaking or canoeing, and hammock park. Daily devotions will be led by Youth Director, Danielle Burkhart. All meals are covered in the cost of the trip, but if you are still hungry you can visit the local shop for burgers, pop, or ice cream.
Cost: The cost per student is $200. That said, we had a fundraiser in April for camp. The money donated towards camp was enough to cover the cost of each of our students who had already signed up, plus two more! This is seriously a praise Jesus moment (so, please - praise Jesus!).
If you are interested but haven't signed your student up yet, please talk to me! Your student will be covered. The latest we can accept a new student is June 13th.
Optional Extras: Craft barn (starting at $3), kayaking and canoeing (starting at $5), camp store & camp ice cream shop.
Forms. Both forms need to be filled out and returned to Danielle Burkhart by June 14th. You can request a physical copy of these forms from Danielle Burkhart at , or you can use the online form by following the links given. Unfortunately, if we don’t have these forms on time, your student will not be allowed to attend.
Refunds: If we are unable to go, of if you would like to pull your student out for any reason, you can do so up until June 21st and get a full refund of whatever amount you had paid towards camp at that point.
Safety: Indian Lake Nazarene Campgrounds is closely following the safety protocols given by LARA (Licensing and Regulatory Affairs) and by the state of Michigan. These protocols are being updated regularly as we learn more information from the CDC and health officials. Depending on the guidelines, some activities may be closed when we are at the camp. We will only go if it is safe to do so. We will do our best to keep you updated on the current guidelines and the safety protocols the camp has in place.
Masks: Masks will not be expected in bunk houses or while outside. Masks may be required while in the dinning hall or gym, depending on the guidelines in July.
