Read Philippians 1:3-8
Paul loves his church family of Philippi and can’t help but think about all the amazing things God continues to do through them. He wishes nothing more than to see them in person one more time. But he can’t because, at the moment, he is stuck (in prison).
Sometimes we are stuck. And we want nothing more than to be with the people who encourage us the most. In these times, it’s important to know that God is still moving and doing great things, and that we are still united by the love of Jesus.
Lord, help me to see where you are working, and to find ways to encourage my friends even when I cannot see them face-to-face.
